Circular Letter No. 14/2003
The 5th European Individual Women’s Championship will be held in Dresden/Germany from 20 March to 3 April 2004. Attached you will find the announcement. The invitation including registration form will be distributed by the Organizing Committee within the next days.

The Chess Federation of Moldova is interested in organizing the European Individual Women’s Championship 2005. Negotiations are still in process. A final decision can be expected for January 2004.
FIDE is preparing the World Championship 2004. The 46 players qualified from Europe are as follows:
- the first 5 players from the European Individual Championship 2002 in Batumi/Georgia
- the first 37 players from the European Individual Championship 2003 in Silivri/Turkey
- Mateusz Bartel, Poland, current European U18 championship
- Aleksander Deltshev, Bulgaria, current leader of the European Grand Prix
- Kivanc Haznedaroglu,Turkey (nominee of the ECU President)
- Baadur Jobava, Georgia (nominee of the ECU President)
